The Stranger on the Road to Emmaus gives a solid overview of the main message of the Bible. It ties together key Old and New Testament stories to reveal the identity of God and the nature of sin, all the time answering two questions: “Who is Jesus?” and “What is the story of the cross and the tomb all about?” It helps a person understand clearly what is the main message of Bible.
“The Bible makes so much sense now!”
This book is ideal for people who come from a Christianized background, whether Catholic, Protestant or Orthodox. It assumes readers have a concept of only one God who is a person—not a force.

I'm a Jail Chaplain and the inmates I minister to find this book makes the Bible so much easier to understand. It has been very helpful in my ministry to them. After reading it I knew I had to order copies for their library. They really appreciated it.

I have used The Stranger for numerous study groups, from one-on-one to small groups to message series for a church. In every case it has brought clarity about the main message and themes of the Bible to both believers and unbelievers, to those with little church / Bible background and those who have grown up hearing the Bible taught. I have seen the Lord use this to bring several people to a saving knowledge of Jesus! Thanks for all the translations as well - I have been able to make use of both the Spanish and Chinese editions. The variety of formats is an added bonus - e-book, audio, and DVD. The fact that you are in this to get the Good News out does not go unnoticed either!

We have used this book for years as a gift to unsaved family and friends and to folks who we have been sharing the truth of God's Word with. It is a great witnessing tool and something to give to someone you won't be able to follow up with.
